Ordering Custom Blinds Online — FAQ
How is the price of a custom blind calculated?
Each blind is priced by area: width × height in square feet, times the per-square-foot price of the fabric model and headrail you choose. The configurator shows the exact price before you add it to your cart, in Canadian dollars.
Is there a minimum size or minimum charge?
Yes. Every blind is billed at a minimum of 1 square metre (10.76 sq ft). Smaller windows can still be ordered; they are simply charged as 1 m². Online orders accept widths and heights from 30 to 300 cm (about 12 to 118 inches).
How much does it cost to motorize a blind?
Motorization adds $250.00 per blind. Manual chain and cordless spring operation are included at no extra cost.
What is the difference between the headrail options?
A fabric-wrapped cassette covers the headrail in matching fabric for the most finished look. An aluminum cassette hides the roll behind a clean metal profile. An open roll (no cassette) is the lightest and most economical option and is available on roller blinds.
How do I measure my windows?
For an inside mount, measure the width and height of the opening; we make the exact manufacturing deductions. For an outside mount, measure the area you want the blind to cover. Our window shade measuring guide walks through both step by step.

Yes. Every colour on this page has its own model number. Request free samples through our contact page and we will send the swatches you want to compare in your own light.
My window is larger than 300 cm. Can I still order?
Windows larger than the online limits, bay windows and whole-home projects are quoted by our team. Contact us with your measurements and we will prepare a custom quote.
